Bio

In 1982 I graduated from university in England with a degree in design, but chose a different career path. I moved to Maryland in 1989 where I currently live. 

Recently we wanted to bring a bit of “Brit” to our home here in Maryland. With my wife’s suggestion and support, I have returned to my passion and I built my first Red Phone Booth door. After seeing how well it turned out once completed, I began working on a Blue Police Box project, which turned out just as well.

 

I found these projects to be incredibly rewarding to me, and also of interest to many of my customers. I personally hand build and craft each door, from the carving, marquetry, painting, to all the details. As a result, each creation has its own unique character. I treat every door order like the first one and enjoy every minute.  I will continue to build and look for different designs and ideas to offer my clients as I continue on this journey.
